Does size come into it for you, and is it rude to say so?

Slightly delicate one. Does size factor into it for anyone here?

I ask because I notice it does for me, a bit, and I have never mentioned that to anyone because it feels like exactly the sort of thing that would land badly. Feet are attached to people, and telling somebody they are the right or wrong dimensions is not a compliment in any other context.

So two questions. Is size part of it for you? And is it ever a thing you could say to a partner without it being unkind?
