How did you figure out feet were your thing?

I am new and still piecing together my own story with this. Looking back I can spot little signs going years, but I never had a clear lightbulb instant where I thought, ah, so that is what this is.

I would love to hear how it clicked for other people. Was it a sudden realisation, or a slow one you only understood much later? I am not fishing for anything deep, I just find it comforting to hear how ordinary these stories usually turn out to be. Thanks for humouring a curious newcomer on a quiet evening.
