I work twelve hour shifts, almost all of it standing or walking on hard floors, and by hour nine my feet genuinely hurt. Not injured hurt, just done. When I get home the soles feel hot and the skin round my heels has gone thick and rough in a way it never used to.
I do wash them, and I have a foot cream somewhere in the bathroom that I remember about once a fortnight. I suspect the honest answer is that I am not doing anything with any consistency, but I also wonder if I am missing something structural, like the shoes are wrong.
What do the people here who are on their feet all day actually do? I would rather build one routine I stick to than buy five products I use once.
